A fantastic permanent opportunity has become available in our APL Customer Support Division for an enthusiastic individual to join their busy and vibrant team! Reporting to the Customer Support Supervisor (Export), the main responsibilities of this role are:
  • To provide professional and personal customer service to all APL clients.
  • To ensure that the commercial interests and shipping requirements of APL are held as highest priority.
  • To actively assist Sales in promoting the APL brand.

To be successful in this role, you MUST have -
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residence
  • At least 12 months' previous Customer Service experience, preferably in the Shipping/Freight forwarding industry
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to foster relationships with customers
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work unsupervised
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Strong keyboard and computer skills
  • Excellent telephone manners with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
