A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Culture & People Partner to join the Woolworths Fuel business, one of Australia’s largest fuel and convenience retailing networks with 540 operating sites across Australia. This role is a 6 month secondment opportunity based in QLD.
What you’ll do:
The Culture & People Partner, Fuel QLD will partner closely with the State Manager and leadership team for the standalone Fuel business. This role will be instrumental in managing the change plan within the state to transition the Fuel business through the trade sale and will be part of creating the Culture & People strategy and accountable for delivering this within the state.
As the Culture & People Partner, Fuel QLD your key responsibilities will include:
Lead the implementation of the state change plan to successfully transition the Fuel business to a standalone entity outside of Woolworths.
Partner with the State Manager and state leadership team to deliver on the business strategy through its people.
Partner with state leadership team and collaborate with the Culture & People team to create and execute the culture & people plan.
Play a key role in establishing the people framework e.g. policies, benefits, employment terms & conditions etc for a standalone business and drive continuous improvement of people practices.
Support leaders to bring the strategy to life across all sites and team members.
Coach and develop senior leaders through building a strong trusted partnership.
Develop talent and grow leadership capability across the business.
Use People insights to drive actionable plans to deliver business results.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions, working in the Retail or Fuel industry will be highly regarded.
Travel may be required, mostly within the State.
Who you are?
You are degree qualified in Business, Human Resources or a related field. You are an influencer and have a knack for building collaborative relationships with a constructive style whilst managing multiple stakeholders during periods of ambiguity. You have a solutions focused mindset with the ability to be ‘hands on’ to drive outcomes. You have strong change management skills and are able to communicate across all levels in the business.
