Bushland Plant Operator Jobs Vacancy in Kuringai Municipal Council Pymble Jobs Details:
- Salary $58,182.28 - $67,491.84 p/a + super
- Current MR Licence & First Aid Certificate
- 38hpw 9 day fortnight
Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to provide assistance in completing works associated with the conservation and maintenance of Council's Bushland area.
Supporting the Team Leader, this role will see you operate excavators, backhoes and other plant equipment as part of the construction and maintenance of fire trails and fire breaks. You will also be required to assist in the maintenance and construction of walking tracks and participate in hazard reduction burns. You may be required to assist in bushland restoration activities.
This opportunity would ideally suit a flexible and cooperative team player, with demonstrated knowledge of ensuring safe, yet efficient operational standards on a daily basis.
To apply for this role candidates will require:
- Workcover Licence and/or accreditation to operate heavy plant such as forest mulcher, backhoes, excavators, compaction rollers and skid steer loader.
- Current MR Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current White Card Certificate
- AQF3 Chemical Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain
