Mount Colah Public School is situated on the upper north shore. The school provides a dynamic and caring educational environment in which all 465 students including 5 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students access quality educational programs. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach primary library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
Approval to teach infants and primary K-6 with demonstrated excellence in classroom management and programming of a differentiated curriculum.
Demonstrated expertise in integrating ICT to engage students and enhance learning experiences.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated in an ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
Demonstrated organisational and resource management skills which enhance quality teaching across the school.
Ability to coordinate and coach a school-based public speaking and debating team and contribute to the school's development of gifted and talented students.
Demonstrated experience in the use of the Oliver Library Management System.
ConditionsAn unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
