You will be working very closely with the Accounts Supervisor to assist the success and lead the development of the Accounts Payable team.

A large top tier construction group is looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Officer to join their Finance team. This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded top tier construction business, while working for a manager who offers a wide range of exposure and encourages professional development.
Support this finance team by managing the complete Accounts Payable process. You will report directly through to the Accounts Supervisor with four other peers in your team. You will deliver accurate results on a consistent basis and align yourself with the strong values of the business.
Creating and Maintaining Vendor accounts
Matching, batching and coding supplier invoices
Resolving invoice discrepancies
Following up key internal stakeholders for payment approvals
Reconciling supplier accounts and general ledger for month end
Processing weekly and monthly payment processing (Domestic & International)
Managing petty cash and staff expense reimbursements
General administrative support such as scanning, filing and archiving will be required as part of this position.
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will be:
Solid experience working in a similar position
Intermediate excel skills and knowledge of large ERP systems
Be comfortable with high volume environment (100+ invoices per day)
Have clear and effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders with ease
A proactive approach to your work, and the ability to work independently are a must
