Salary: Remuneration package of up to $81,398 p.a., comprising salary range of $63,830 - $71,341 p.a. (AO3), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).
About North West Hospital and Health Service The North West Hospital and Health Service covers an area of over 300,000 square kilometres and services the rural and remote communities within North Western Queensland and the Gulf of Carpentaria. The Health Service includes the City of Mount Isa and the towns and areas of Burketown, Camooweal, Cloncurry, Dajarra, Doomadgee, Julia Creek, Karumba, Normanton and Mornington Island.
About the RolePerform administrative duties, ensuring professional and efficient services are provided to the Pharmacy Department, including:

  • Prioritising incoming correspondence papers and reports and determine action.
  • Purchasing requirements/orders.
  • Preparing draft articles and responses to correspondence for consideration.
  • Maintaining staff payroll register at local level, submission of leave forms and travel documents.
  • Assisting in the collection of Human Resource documents for recruitment.
  • Preparation of concise briefing notes from files, reports, business plans and other official papers as required.
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
Requirements

  • Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Business/Health Administration would be well regarded.
