The Ministerial and Parliamentary Services (MaPS) section manages a range of parliamentary activities including cabinet and legislation liaison; centralisation of Classified Materials; coordination of the Departments appearance at Senate Estimates hearings; processing and handling of all ministerial documents; purchasing and accounts payable services for the ministerial offices; and the provision of courier services to Parliament House.
The Parliamentary Officer and Courier, provides support to the department in PDMS, Ministerial Correspondence, Courier duties (including heavy lifting) and general Parliamentary Administrative Assistance. The role forms part of the Parliamentary team within the Governance Branch, and reports to the Assistant Director (EL1) position.
