This position is an administrative role employed through HNELHD for the Genetics of Learning Disability (GOLD) Service.
The GOLD Service is a state wide service providing clinical assessment, diagnostic testing and research for X-linked and familial intellectual delay across New South Wales. The GOLD Service has staff based in Newcastle at Hunter Genetics and in Sydney at Royal North Shore Hospital.
This role will be providing administration support for the Clinical Geneticists and Genetic Counsellors based at the Royal North Shore Hospital. The successful applicant will be a member of the administration team under the management of the Administration Coordinator at Hunter Genetics. This role provides clerical and secretarial support to enable the efficient and effective provision of Genetic Diagnostic and Counselling Services to clients and their families referred to the GOLD Service.
To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.
If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa
An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
