Our client is a successful and long established player in the space of retail security, loss prevention and product labelling solutions. They maintain a consistent and superior quality of service worldwide and provide a vast portfolio of services and products to the retail space.
As the newest member of the organisation’s sales team, your primary responsibility will be to seek out and develop new business opportunities in untapped markets and within other divisions of your existing client base Australia wide. The organisation has a number of solutions however you will be focusing on their labelling equipment solutions. You will be supporting a number of distributors as well as engaging in direct sales activities. Leads and existing customers will be provided but the role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys the challenge of also finding additional leads and developing new business.
You will be provided with comprehensive training and support (as you require it). Travel will be expected from time to time and of course as a part of the daily role where you travel around to meet with your clients. Your territory will be all of Australia – predominantly metro areas and you will be based out of the Australian head office which is located in Melbourne's north eastern suburbs.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience with many of the following:
- Strong track record of sales and business development successes
- Experience designing and implementing a business proposal and taking the prospects through the sales buying cycle
- Skills in territory planning and forecasting
- Strong consultative selling skills including presenting, persuading, negotiating and closing
- Possess a passion for learning and have a strong go-getter attitude
- Knowledge of the retail space highly desirable
