Reporting to the Executive Director, Philanthropy, and managing a small team, the Associate Director Private Giving is responsible for leadership and operational management of the philanthropic function to secure and grow major gift, bequest and trusts and foundations revenue. The role will manage delivery of fundraising strategies, build a pipeline of supporters, and support strategic activity to increase revenue, awareness, engagement and brand awareness. Critical to the success of the role will be collaborating across the organisation to coordinate and facilitate the internal services required for major giving to flourish.
Ideal candidates have a track record in leading successful major gift fundraising teams in education, arts, health, welfare and other relevant charities. You must have experience in administering donor stewardship plans and pipelines, exceptional donor prospecting, cultivation and stewardship skills, and proven abilities to set, manage and achieve targets. With advanced financial management skills and the ability to innovate, create and enhance initiatives, you are a proven leader who can inspire a winning team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercial and well-connected fundraiser, who has excellent stakeholder management skills, and thrives on achieving philanthropic revenue targets.
