The role: As an Applications Officer, you will work as part of a team to provide end to end support of defined clinical enterprise applications to ensure defined service levels are met. You will gain and enhance your knowledge of specific applications and business technical requirements in the support of enterprise applications.
Furthermore, the role requires you to investigate, troubleshoot and test the impacts of changes to any of the components supporting these applications to maintain defined service levels and assist in the develop and review of business and operational plans linking with departmental and branch outcomes.
Are you right for this role?The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work with and adhere to ITIL Service Management processes, as well as practical experience in managing the day to day support of clinical applications.
We are also seeking candidates with well-developed communication skills, including interpersonal, written and oral, who can function effectively in a dynamic responsive support team environment. You will have the proven ability to provide customer support, conflict resolution and advise based on work instructions and detail knowledge repositories. An ability to acquire and retain knowledge related to databases, hardware, networks and software would also be a distinct advantage as would experience in a hospital clinical environment and/or related qualifications.
