Located 16 kms north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and is set in one of New South Wales' most attractive natural environments.
Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the role of Senior Landscape Architect.
The Senior Landscape Architect is responsible for ensuring high levels of design quality and sustainability are achieved across the LGA
Reporting to the Team Leader Urban Design, you will oversee all landscape and open space related matters. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- landscape master plans;
- landscape policies and design guidelines;
- open space planning
- landscape heritage; and
- community engagement activities

To be considered for this role you will require tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture and substantial experience in a similar role.
You will have and advanced design skills; experience in policy preparation; and be able to demonstrate a commitment to design excellence and sustainable outcomes.
This position is 35 hours per week with access to flexi time.
