Part time opportunity

  • Located in Camberwell & Hawthorn, close to public transport
  • The Role

    Epworth’s Health Information Services (HIS) has an exciting opportunity for a part time HIS Scanning Clerk to join our Camberwell campus. The available shifts are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 2:00pm (25hrs per week) with opportunity to increase hours in future.

    Responsibilities/Duties
    • Scanning paper-based patient medical records using the BOSSnet Digital Medical Record system
    • Responding to record requests
    • Answering telephone enquiries
    • Responding to information requests in accordance with the department’s release of information guidelines
    • Collecting, scanning and re-directing mail
    • Performing general department duties as required
    Skills & Experience
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Can work independently and in a team environment
    • Good attention to detail
    • Able to multi-task and to organise work accordingly
    Desirable (non-essential)
    • Experience with iPM and the BOSSnet Digital Medical Record system
    • Sound knowledge of medical terminology
    • Previous medical record experience is desirable
