Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a motivated team player to join the Department of Education and Training’s Records and Digitisation Services team. As a Records Process and Digitisation Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering a Records Management Strategy that will develop a contemporary, capability-led records management practice across the whole Department. In this role you will partner with stakeholders across the Department to increase digital capability, contribute to initiatives designed to continuously improve records management practices and provide contemporary expert advice on complex records management issues.

The successful applicant will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and will be able to draw on records management experience and expertise to provide advice and support that enhances business practices.

This position operates within the Executive and Knowledge Services Division (EKSD) and is part of the People and Executive Services Group (PESG). EKSD is one of five divisions of PESG delivering people services, stakeholder engagement, legal services, ministerial support, communications, probity, audit and risk management and knowledge and records management services to the Department's central office, regional offices and to government schools across the state of Victoria.

The Records and Digitisation Services team operates within EKSD and provides dedicated records management services as well as transition activities to support the Department operating in a digital first environment.
