Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of a full-time Finance Coordinator to work a 76 hour fortnight from the Cummins Office of Council. The role attracts one Rostered Day Off (RDO) per month in addition to four weeks of annual leave per year.

As part of the Corporate Services team, the Finance Coordinator will assist with the preparation of financial records, and oversee the rating, payroll, creditors and debtors functions of Council.

The successful applicant will have scope to assist all departments within Council with special and ongoing financial projects and an inclination and willingness to learn IT systems will be viewed favourably.

Key duties of the Finance Coordinator are to ensure:

  • Council’s Financial records are accurately maintained.
  • Rating, Payroll, Debtors, Creditors, Receipting functions of Council are coordinated effectively.
  • Information Technology hardware and software equipment, systems and programs maintained to provide cost effective solutions in co-operation with Information Technology Consultants.
  • Administration assistance is provided within the Corporate Services department.

Remuneration and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Municipal Officer’s Award and Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (Level 5), currently $71,800 - $76,900 p.a.
