About the role
- $47K-$52K plus 9.5% Superannuation and annual leave loading
- Fixed Term from January - December 2019
- Part-time (14 hours per week)
UNSW Colleges is a secular, co-educational residential college precinct, located on the UNSW Kensington Campus. Owned and managed by the University of New South Wales, the Colleges comprise Basser College (162 resident students), Goldstein College (151 resident students) and Philip Baxter College (213 resident students), Fig Tree Hall (159 resident students), Colombo House (242 student residents) and UNSW Hall (213 student residents).
Each College has a distinct identity and individual qualities. Each separate College is supervised by a Dean of College, under the direction of the Head of Colleges.
Resident Fellows are engaged in study, academic employment and/or professional work normally associated with UNSW. They are expected to maintain their successful commitment to these activities in addition to their functions within the Colleges.
The role of Resident Fellow reports to the respective Dean of each college and has no direct reports.
The residential staff model for The Kensington Colleges, (Basser, Philip Baxter, Goldstein), Colombo House, Fig Tree Hall, and UNSW Hall involves the Resident Fellow paying an agreed rent for the residence (studio apartment) and the Colleges pay separately for their agreed tutoring and community responsibilities.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in tutoring, teaching or training
- A high level of academic achievement and/or demonstrated excellence in their professional field qualifications
