We also provide clean, efficient electricity and gas to almost one million customers - households and businesses - across the country through our retail energy business.
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Customer Service Officer to join the team at our Discovery Centre in Cooma. The Discovery Centre is a fast paced working environment which attracts around 60,000 visitors each year. As the initial point of contact for all visitors to the centre, you will provide high quality customer service and accurate information relating to Snowy Hydro and the Snowy Mountains Scheme.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be undertake the following duties:
Meet, greet and engage visitors at the front counter of the centre
Provide service to visitors including preparation of coffee and related products
Handle all telephone enquiries in a timely manner
Describe and interpret the workings of the Snowy Scheme operations and business to the public
Handle complaints and questions from the public as per set policies
Complete sales transactions, stock the Centre with merchandise and tidy and check all displays are operational
To be successful in this role you will possess:
A minimum of 12 months customer service experience
A certificate 3 in hospitality is desirable
Safe Food Handling Training
Basic level of computing skills and experience
An ability to work within a team and unsupervised as required
This is a Casual position working approximately 15 hours per week including regular weekend work on a rotational roster. We are looking for someone who has the willingness and flexibility to work to meet changing demands.
