- Indicative Total Remuneration: $88,335 - $143,777 – Temp F/T (from 4/2/2019 up to 02/02/2020) – MDP2
As a trainee within the SA Paediatric Training Network, you will rotate through a range of different roles in paediatric medicine, paediatric surgery and neonatology at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Lyell McEwin Hospital, contributing to the provision of clinical services to inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervision. You will participate in inpatient services, including assessment of new admissions, care coordination, and management of the day to day progress of assigned patients in the ward. You will also participate in discharge and follow up arrangements, assessment and management of paediatric emergencies, and have the opportunity to organise, correlate and interpret investigations as required. As part of your role, you will be expected to actively participate in clinical teaching and associated research projects. Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, you will be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration. Demonstrating satisfactory experience as an intern in a recognised teaching hospital, you will possess the clinical skills appropriate for the duties performed in the work unit. You will bring the ability to work as an effective team member in a multidisciplinary environment, communicating effectively with patients and other staff.
