Administration Officer Jobs Vacancy in Queensland Government Brisbane Jobs Details:
Remuneration value up to $6617 p.m., comprising salary between $2386.90 - $2667.80 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (Temporary full time up to six months, with possibility of extension. Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment:
- Varicella (chicken pox)
- Pertussis (whooping cough)
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis A – Workers in regular contact with untreated sewerage
- Q Fever – Research or Laboratory staff regularly handling specimens
Existing staff that are engaged prior to 1 July 2016 are not subject to this condition of employment unless they apply for a role with VPD requirements that is with a different Queensland Health entity (ie one HHS to another HHS, Department to a HHS, or HHS to Department).
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for providing, developing and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative, and transcription service with a strong focus on delivering quality patient care, whilst meeting Departmental goals and objectives. This position operates with a high degree of independence, while maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the Department and other members of multidisciplinary teams, staff within the Health Service District and external agencies. The position has to make administrative decisions relating to the interpretation of departmental policies and procedures.
