The purpose of this position is to develop vertical business strategies and identify new business opportunities to achieve agreed upon growth objectives for the Colo, Cloud & BFSI Vertical in Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) . This role is also responsible for Key Account Management within the Vertical to maximise our potential with current customers.

You will also be responsible for:
  • Working collaboratively with the Snr Director Colo, Cloud and BFSI Asia and to develop short and long range business plans and managing the execution of these plans through consultation and collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Managing your own activity within the vertical sales in Colo, Cloud &BFSI for the achievement of short-and long-term business objectives, increased profit and market control
  • Building and communicating an understanding of vertical strategies by educating key stakeholders
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives to grow vertical partnership base by thoroughly understanding the vertical markets within the ANZ market
  • Leading project bid strategies, customer engagement and Regional/Global collaboration
  • Working collaboratively with the MU Management, Sales teams, Vertical Leaders and internal stakeholders (product management, marketing, tech support) to develop solutions that meet customers’ requirements
  • Preparing and conducting presentations to; and negotiations with IDC/BFSI customers (prospective and existing)
  • Preparing regular reports and analysis of achievements, opportunities and performance against planned KPIs

You will also need to have:
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in related field (eg. Commerce, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Extensive experience in consultative technical sales/sales management with a minimum of 2 years managing key accounts
  • A proven track record in project sales
  • High level, commercial acumen, communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales concepts and techniques
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft office applications
