Research Fellow Jobs Vacancy in University Ballarat Ballarat Jobs Details:
Faculty of Science and Technology – Gippsland Campus
Full-time, fixed-term appointment until December 2018.
You will work closely with fellow researchers and play a key role in Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Engineering Research Group projects including investigations into mine geomechanics and slope stability, reliability and risk analysis of open pits and design, planning and implementation of pit rehabilitation. You will also participate in academic administrative functions of the Faculty including conferences and seminars.
As the successful applicant, you will have demonstrated capacity to contribute to and propose new research initiatives within the research group as well as provide support for research and undergraduate students. Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work collegially including the ability to communicate with stakeholders within the University as well as external industry partners are key requirements of this position.
The salary is within the Academic Level B range $93,488 to $111,019 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
Appointments will normally be at the base of the salary range.
