Your new company
Work for a leading manufacturer in their market! This client is seeking a new Customer Service Officer for their Western Sydney head office.
Your new role
this role will see you: -
-Answering a high volume of inbound calls, providing accurate and up to date knowledge on a large range of manufacturing products
-Process purchase orders/online credits and returns using SAP system
-Liaise with retail customers, suppliers & clients, warehouse staff and peers
-Handling customer complaints, escalations and resolutions efficiently and professionally
-Arranging lead times for 'Planning and Production' team and working with customer ETA’s, monitoring and updating customers of any changes and identifying issues with systems/picking and dispatch
-Organisation of logistics and delivery process
-Action daily sales orders & processing of picking slips ready for dispatch.
What you'll need to succeed
-Immaculate communication skills and high attention to detail
-Experience within a manufacturing and industrial environment (or warehousing)
-A strong customer service background with proven contact centre experience
-MUST have experience processing purchase orders or experience with SAP
-A passion for helping others and providing the best quality customer service
-The confidence to handle complaints and unhappy customers with empathy
-Be confident in liaising with the Supply Chain team, handling difficult conversations and time frames.
- MS Office – Excel/PowerPoint/Word proficient
- Problem solving by lateral thinking and being highly proactive
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure
What you'll get in return
a full time, permanent position with stability and progression opportunities further down the line. This role is offering $55k+ Super however may be increased to $60k+ Super for the right candidate, depending on experience and interview performance. This role will see you working Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm however hours may change. Free parking on site, you must be able to drive due to the rural location.
