Position Type: Temporary full-time (up to 30 June 2018) Salary: Salary range of $2404.00 - $3621.70 p.f. About the role The Environment Health Officer's role is to deliver routine regulatory and non-regulatory environmental health services across to protect, promote and prevent risks to the community arising from environmental health hazards that impact on the natural and built environment and human health. This position may be involved in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander communities. This position provides routine advice on environmental health matters to internal and external stakeholders, commensurate with the level of experience. Other information - Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Roles that have a direct contact with patients or who in the course of their work may be exposed to blood/body fluids or contaminated sharps are required to be immunised for Hepatitis B. Roles that have contact that would allow acquisition and/or transmission of measles, mumps, rubella, varicella or pertussis, and have face to face contact with patients and/or work in a clinical area require evidence of immunisation of the aforementioned diseases.What's on Offer?
