We have a 6 month fixed term opportunity for a Personal Assistant based in Townsville within the Digital Office business unit at Energy Queensland.
The Personal Assistant will provide high level confidential and professional business assistance and administrative support to multiple General Manager's (Executive Leaders) in the Digital Office group. This role acts as a pivotal point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of effective and efficient administrative services.
You will provide high quality, confidential secretarial services and administrative support including but not limited to e-mail, diary, travel, arranging functions, corporate credit card processing and reconciling and correspondence management. As well as preparation of agendas, minute taking, meeting outcomes, presentations, various management papers and reports as required, using relevant computer applications, to satisfy business reporting and information requirements. You will provide effective communication support to the General Manager's and management team, through monitoring and follow-up of tasks assigned to management team members, monitoring internal and external correspondence to ensure they are completed.
To be successful in this role, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded:
Certificate IV in Business Administration, or relevant, equivalent experience;
Demonstrated skills and experience in supporting geographically dispersed senior level management;
Demonstrated high level written and interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with stakeholders;
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in systems including Microsoft Office programs, document management and video conferencing technologies. Sharepoint experience would be advantageous; and
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, with the ability to multi-task and work to tight timeframes.
