Civil Project Manager Quality Officer Jobs Vacancy in Civil Services Group Townsville Jobs Details:
We have opportunities in the Townsville region for Civil Project Managers with Quality Management experience interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignments for a period of approximately 8 months with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects.
The person shall have experience in Project Management in the roles and responsibilities given below:
Thoroughly implement all documentation for compliance project requirements;
Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary for the design and construction of road infrastructure projects associated with this contract.
Provide support and advice on the planning and design process, to ensure delivery of project outcomes, value for money and best practice are achieved.
Ensure all quality management procedures are Implemented in order to facilitate the delivery of contract to a high and consistent standard.
Ensure all safety management procedures are adhered to in order to facilitate the delivery of contract to a high and consistent standard.
Determine the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components and systems, involved in supporting project management and delivery.
Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to this contract.
Undertake performance assessment and reporting of the contractors
Identify and document lessons learnt during the project delivery
Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to this project. Must have dedicated Civil Roads Project Management experience working with RMS &/or TMR directly or indirectly.
The proposed hours are 36-45 per week, however longer hours & weekend work may be required to suit work load. The roles are Central Queensland Coast based and preference would be given to someone who is prepared to relocate for the duration of the project, however, we may consider a FIFO roster.
You must have: the right to work in Australia, with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills and a current drivers licence.
