An opportunity exists for a qualified dietitian to join our dietetics team at Austin Health. This position is a full time Grade 1 position with primary work responsibilities within our Specialist Medicine and Cancer Streams and other inpatient areas depending on operational need.
To be eligible for this position you must be qualified to practice as a dietitian in Australia, as recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia.

Austin Health is one of Victoria’s largest health care providers. Comprising the Austin Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, Austin Health is a major teaching and research centre with numerous university and research institute affiliations.
Austin Health employs in excess of 8,000 staff across its three sites; including over 1,000 Doctors and 3,000 nurses, and delivers a full range of leading edge clinical services, including several state-wide services (liver transplant, spinal cord injury service, respiratory support service, child inpatient mental health service). About the Nutrition and Dietetics Department
We have 30 dietitians working across all three sites of Austin Health, in acute care, sub-acute care and community programs. We function as one department and work in clinical streams in a supportive environment. We have involvement in clinical services, research, quality improvement, teaching and training, professional learning and development and food service.
