We are now seeking a junior legal assistant to join the Real Estate team in our Sydney office. Reporting to a Senior Associate and two Lawyers, your general duties will include:
- preparation of internal conveyancing forms for receipting of payments, investing deposits, courier and deliveries;
- banking of settlement cheques;
- photocopying, scanning and filing;
- managing authors diaries and files;
- file opening for new and existing clients;
- taking internal and external calls and passing on messages quickly and efficiently;
- other general administration duties.
You will have 1-2 years of previous experience within a similar legal assistant role.
You will be highly motivated, organised, be able to work in a fast paced environment and will be looking for a role where you can grow. Experience in property and/or environment and planning, will be highly regarded.
