Reporting Officer Jobs Vacancy in Government South Australia Adelaide Jobs Details:

Joining the team at SA Pathology, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic report transcription via digital dictation and distribution, data entry and handling enquiries in the Anatomical Pathology section. Transcribing anatomical pathology and cytopathology reports via a digital dictation system, you will produce and distribute high quality pathology reports as directed. You will also perform clerical duties for departmental management by preparing clinico-pathological meetings and departmental audits including billing and providing clerical support for teaching and research activities by typing general correspondence, reports, educational material and scientific papers. As part of your role, you may also provide a courteous and comprehensive reception and liaison service for enquiries presented in person, by telephone or by fax, with appropriate call referral as required. It is expected that you will assist with administrative support services including word processing, data entry, photocopying, project work, preparation of correspondence, general filing, scheduling and preparing for meetings and minute taking as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in providing a confidential clerical and administrative support service, and have sound knowledge of medical terminology. With experience in audio typing and a typing speed of 50 WPM with 98% accuracy, you will have the ability to organise work, prioritise tasks and work effectively to deadlines. You will also demonstrate a sound understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
