As a Systems Administrator at Noggin, you’ll work predominately with Linux based servers, and a mixture of Linux, Windows, and MacOS desktops. However you’ll be involved in support and maintenance across a wide variety of systems like firewalls, gateways, and end-point security solutions. This is a diverse role that covers network configuration and administration; services and systems support; as well as desktop support. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be a customer focused Systems Administrator who gets a kick out of solving problems and delivering super-smart solutions.
You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty if it means the business is well-serviced. You’re meticulous and well-organised; you take pride in running a ‘tight ship’ when it comes to IT operations. You’re always the go-to for all things tech and you enjoy being first port of call for anything infrastructure or security related.
What does success look like in this role?
Within your first 3 months you will become fully conversant with our people, processes, tools and technologies. You’ll quickly become regarded as a smart, competent and credible resource who can be relied on to get things done and done quickly. 6 months in, you’ve received consistently feedback from all areas of the business and have become integral enabling our people to do their best work, preventing any ICT issues from hindering day-to-day operations. After your first year, you’ll have received a 90%+ feedback rating and will have consistently met business requirements within your SLA’s.
